At Clioquest: Journal of Historical Research, every manuscript undergoes a rigorous editorial assessment and a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic excellence, originality and research integrity.
Double-Blind Review Editorial Screening International Experts Research IntegrityThe editorial office examines each submission for relevance to the journal's scope, originality, formatting requirements and overall academic quality.
Suitable manuscripts are sent for anonymous review. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
Each manuscript is normally evaluated by at least three independent experts, including international reviewers with recognised expertise in the subject area.
Authors revise their manuscript in response to reviewers' comments. The Section Editor verifies that all required revisions have been adequately addressed.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision or rejection after considering reviewers' recommendations.
